Rumus Past Future Continuous Tense
Untuk rumus membuat kalimat dengan menggunakan past future continuous tense, maka kalian dapat mengikuti rumus future perfect continuous tense yang kami berikan sebagai berikut:Positif (+) : Subjek + Should / Would + be + V-ing / present participle
Negatif (-) : Subjek + Should / Would + not + be +V-ing / present participle
Interrogatif (?) : Should / Would + Subjek + be + V-ing / present participle
Contoh dari Past Future Continuous tense dapat dilihat dibawah ini :
(+) : Tony would be attending the coldplay concert if he was in Singapore.(-) : Tony would be not attending the coldplay concert if he was in Singapore.
(?) : Would Tony be attending the coldplay concert if he was in Singapore ?
(+) : I should be studying my Thesis last night.
(-) : I should not be studying my thesis last night.
(?) : Should I be studying my thesis last night ?
(+) :You Should be cooking the cake at 7 o’clock yesterday morning.

Fungsi Past Future Continuous Tense
Berikut ini merupakan fungsi dari tense past future continuous :1. Past Future Continuous tense digunakan untuk menjelaskan suatu kegiatan yang akan berlangsung pada suatu masa di waktu lampau:
Aku seharusnya mendapatkan beasiswa tahun kemarin.
(+) I would be getting scholarship last year.
(-) I would not be getting scholarship last year.
(?) Would I be getting scholarship last year ?Andy akan bermain bola sabtu
kemarin apabila ia tidak sakit
(+) Andy would be playing soccer last saturday, if him didn’t sick.
(-) Andy would not be playing soccer last saturday, if him didn’t sick.

kami akan berpergian liburan kemarin apabila kakak pulang.

2. Past Future Continuous tense digunakan untuk memprediksi suatu kegiatan yang akan berlangsung pada suatu masa di waktu lampau:
Bibi memprediksi bila kakak akan pulang minggu kemarin.
(+) My aunt predicted that my sister would be come to home last week.
(-) My aunt predicted that my sister would not be come to home last week.
(?) Would my aunt predicted that my sister be come to home last week ?
Profesor saya memprediksi kebakaran hutan akan terjadi sepanjang musim kemarau kemarin.
(+) My Proffesor predicted that forest fire would be happening all the last dry season.
(-) My Proffesor predicted that forest fire would not be happening all the last dry season.

Orangtua saya memprediksi bahwa saya akan lulus sarjana tahun kemarin.
(+) My parents predicted that I would be graduating my bachelor degree last year.
